Natural products have been the source for well over 50% of drugs and drug leads. For some therapies, they serve as the exclusive source of drugs and drug leads. Despite historical success, there has been a downward trend in natural products research in the recent past. Gratifyingly newer technologies and approaches are leading a resurgence in natural products. This session will cover some of these approaches with an eye towards the future of natural products in drug discovery.
