CHO clarification of a 500 L SUB in less than three hours with UniFuge® Single Use Centrifuge

In this study, we will clarify CHO Batch with a,UniFuge® ,single use centrifuge. The batch is 500  liters of CHO cell culture broth @ 60% viability and 20E6 cells/ml (6.5% PCV).  The purpose, is to collect clean supernatant with solubilized protein. The Centrifuge Equipment is a tube bowl centrifuge called the UniFuge® Centrifuge manufactured by (PneumaticScaleAngelus).  The insert is a single use module with a 4 tube set.  The process parameters set are: cycle time, g force.  The Centrifuge is operated in automatic  mode. We will collect the centrate for NTU measurement and compare against Westfalia disc stack centrifuge SC6.
