Poster abstracts will be accepted in the areas of natural products

  • Discovery (Genomic-based, activity-based, analytical tools and methods for discovery)
  • Development (Clinical)
  • Biosynthesis (Pathways, enzymes, genes, regulation, hybrid pathways, hybrid or novel compounds)
  • Chemical Biology (Mechanisms of action, target identification, NP drug resistance and resistance mechanisms)
  • Ecology (NPs in their natural environment)
  • Production (industrial applications, activation of silent pathways, titer increases)
  • Informatics (Software development for NP discovery, development, analysis, etc.)

POSTER PRESENTERS ONLY

Abstract submissions are limited to 250 words. Deadline for submission: Submit your final abstract no later than November 30, 2017.  Keep in mind that early registration ends August 31, 2017 so early submission is recommended.
The Poster Session will be held Sunday and Monday evenings, January 21-22, 2018. All posters displayed must have one author available during the prescribed time period to discuss the poster.

IMPORTANT: You will be notified by email of acceptance of your poster abstract. All accepted Poster Presenters should be registered and paid in full by the online registration deadline of December 4, 2017 in order to reserve a spot in the poster hall and be included in the program.

Poster Session Set-up

Set-Up: Poster boards will be available for setup on Sunday January 21. Please have all posters displayed no later than 4:00 pm Sunday, January 21.

Poster sessions will be held:
Sunday and Monday, January 21-22, 2018  from 5:00-7:00 pm.

The poster session is two (2) hours in length. Authors must be available during that time to answer questions, expand on the material and take part in discussions.

Poster Size 4 feet high by 4 feet wide. Labeling with the poster title and authors should be prepared for the top of your poster space. There will be two posters per side of each 4 foot x 8 foot board.

Posters will be displayed on assigned boards only. Locate your poster number in the meeting program. Your poster number will be posted on your board prior to set up.

Please do not write, draw or paste on the poster boards. A supply of poster pins will be available at both the registration desk and poster hall.
