ICM will present their pathway to cellulosic ethanol via grain fiber (Gen 1.5), crop residue and energy crop feedstocks (Gen 2.0).  ICM will discuss the process design and philosophy behind the cellulosic ethanol production technologies. This technology will also be discussed in terms of implementation at an existing starch to ethanol facility in a step-wise fashion.  The impact of co-products quality and quantity on the financial performance of the technology design will be discussed. ICM will discuss the challenges and successes associated with the demonstration of the Gen 1.5 and Gen 2.0 technologies and give an update on commercialization of these technologies.
