The presentation will cover production of the Amyris biofuel farnesane from domestic sweet sorghum syrup.  We will describe the pre- fermentation processing steps that provide the sterile fermentation feedstock and the overall process which involves fed batch fermentation, centrifugal separation, distillation and hydrogenation.  Lastly, feedstock and process factors influencing the economics of production will be reviewed.
