Call for Abstracts
SIMB 72nd Annual Meeting 2022

Welcome to the 72nd SIMB Annual meeting. The program chair for SIMB 2022 is Mark Blenner, PhD. University of Delaware. The 2022 program committee welcomes you to submit presentations in the Society’s core topic areas. poster abstracts, as well as student oral session abstracts and contributed oral abstracts may be submitted for consideration.
Abstracts for invited talks, posters, contributed oral presentations and student oral session presentations are now being accepted. Abstracts are appreciated at this time in order to adequately publicize the meeting. Your abstract may be edited up until July 11, 2022 (4 weeks) prior to the meeting dates.
INVITED TALKS: Submit to this area if you have been specifically invited to present in one of the oral sessions.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS: Poster spaces are limited. Please do not submit an abstract unless you are committed to attending the meeting and presenting. To be assured of a poster space after receiving an acceptance, each poster must have the presenting author registered and paid by the advanced registration deadline date July 13, 2022. Substitutions for the presenting author must be identified by contacting SIMB directly. In the case of a substitution, the new presenter must also be registered and paid by required date.

All posters accepted and displayed must have at least one author available to discuss the poster. This author may present only two posters within a single poster session, and present no more than a total of three posters in both poster sessions, i.e., a single author may present a maximum of two (2) posters in one poster session and one (1) poster in the other poster session.
IMPORTANT: You will be notified by email of acceptance of your poster abstract. All accepted poster presenters must be registered and paid in full before abstracts will be published. If you have not registered and paid by the date specified, your poster will be withdrawn from the program/website and space will not be reserved for you in the poster hall.

CONTRIBUTED TALKS. Submit to this area if you would like to speak in one of the oral presentation sessions but have not been specifically invited. Your abstract will be reviewed and you will be notified of the outcome in time to preregister.
IMPORTANT: You will be notified by email of acceptance of your abstract. if you weren't accepted to present in an oral session, you will be notified that you were accepted into the poster session. All accepted presenters must be registered and paid in full before abstracts will be published. If you have not registered and paid by the date specified, your poster will be withdrawn from the program/website.

Your abstract will be reviewed and you will be notified if you are invited to present in a oral session. If your abstract was not accepted into a oral session, you will may be accepted to present in the poster session.
