Experiences with Metabolic Pathway Engineering Technology and Product Development

This presentation will provide case histories of several projects including indigo, ascorbic acid and Bio-PDO that utilize metabolic pathway engineering for the design and operation of the respective cell factories. Open innovation with a number of collaborators and partners was critical to success and will be highlighted in this presentation. The lessons learned both in technology and commercialization will be shared and progress in the slow but steady transformation of the chemical industry will be mapped.
