S95: Microbial fermentation and custom manufacturing: Surprising diversity

Looking at the product portfolio of the custom manufacturing activities of DSM BioSolutions a suprisingly diverse mix of clients, production processes, product classes, and product application fields is observed. A direct consequence of this diversity is that also the scientific perspective, e.g. the microbial production systems, the actual production processes, and final product specifications and analytics creates a wide spectrum of challenges and opportunities.
