Over the past 25 years or so, the biotechnology industry has grown from an infant with a lot of promise, to a productive young adult with a bright future. The focus of this talk will be a reflection on how the industry has faced significant challenges in the past, learned from these experiences, and is now positioned to deliver a very promising future to patients with previously unmet medical needs.
