The National Alliance for Advanced Biofuels and Bioproducts (NAABB) is producing new technologies that can be implemented by our commercial partners and others developing the algal biofuel industry. Our program incorporates objectives in algal biology, cultivation, harvesting/extraction, and conversion to fuels and coproducts. We are examining sustainability of our processes, including economic/energy-balance modeling and resource management components to establish the technologies’ viability. This presentation will provide a brief overview of what has come out of the consortium. More information about NAABB can be found at http://www.naabb.org/.
