10-37: Novol pretreatment method using CO2 for bioethanol production

A novel pretreatement method using CO₂ for cornstover was evaluated in this study. The pretreatment method showed a relatively high glucose yield followed by saccharification. This study will discuss glucose recovery yields under the various pretreatment conditions including temperature, pressure and steam in the presence of CO₂ as well as the possible inhibitory compounds from the pretreatment step.
